CONGRESSIONAL INVESTIGATION: Biden Administration’s Suspended Envoy to Iran Complicates Current War Footing with Peculiar Timing to Raisi Death

ANALYSIS: Details of Iran envoy Robert Malley complicate war footing with nuclear entanglements as Republicans capitalize in an election year. It’s all IC kabuki theater. Why and why now?

In the spring and summer of 2023, a problematic development began unfolding as documents and diplomatic strategies from the Biden Administration’s Iran envoy, Robert Malley, began appearing in Iranian state media. The explanation for it was a tired one – a foreign government and “likely Iran” had hacked Malley’s devices. Or, better yet, perhaps Malley just gave them the documents in the same spirit of generosity that saw the Obama and Biden Administrations fork over tens of billions to the world’s leading nation state exporter of international terrorism. At the heart of the matter is Iran’s nuclear capabilities and their covert funding by the US government where old analysis back to 2020 and earlier positions Iran as a rogue nuclear arsenal on call to do the West’s bidding as a geopolitical heavy that whips off-reservation nations back to desired positions.

To clear-up otherwise remarkably muddy waters, our understanding of Iran, its place and its role can be reduced down to this: One overt set of information publicly describes US diplomacy with Iran as opposed and adversarial while a far more accurate set of covert information describes a US that beneath a veneer of manufactured narrative and Intelligence Community scripting, partners with Iran, which does its dirty work, provides propagandized war fodder for domestic consumption and serves as a favorite geopolitical “boogeyman.”

Reporting at Semafor indicates how in an election year, Congressional Republicans are looking to capitalize on Malley’s suspension last year to flip the script on criticisms and attacks leveled against then candidate and former President Donald Trump, where he and like all presidents before him as the incoming Administration began setting the stage to facilitate presidential transition in the scope of foreign diplomacy.

The outgoing Obama Administration laundered diplomatic normalcy into “Russian collusion” and hoodwinked a significant segment of a less discerning American public as the catalyst to drive that operation.

Malley’s suspension last year involved “evidence he downloaded sensitive and classified documents and may have shared them with individuals outside the US government to advance his diplomatic efforts, people briefed on the probe” indicated to reporters.

In yesterday’s article, I followed-up on the crash analysis remaining with the original attribution to the Intelligence Community and its DOD counterpart: World War III Cauldron Begins to Boil In the Wake of Memorial Day.

Iran is the Biden, Obama, IC path to war and it began with a foreign policy shift back in late December 2020: From 2020 Foreign Policy Shift to WWIII in 2024 Biden Marches Us to War.

The backdrop of Obama’s disastrous JCPOA and Biden’s current oversight of those problematic relations has been a staple in the analysis here and it adds another layer of nuclear complexity to an already complex and dangerous but designed scenario.

In the initial analysis on the Raisi crash and death, I asked this, which prompts the basic question of whether or not Raisi had become uncontrollable at the time he required the most control or did he present some other relevant challenge in need of redress by the Intelligence Community: “This covert US/Iran relationship that is the crux of Obama’s JCPOA has been in place for decades begging the questions what did Raisi know and what evidence did he have to prove it?”

Take the timing of the Raisi crash and overlay it with this move by Republicans in application of another well established position in the analysis – the Legislative branch is a functional tool of the Intelligence Community under its direct influence and control.

These two illustrations explain it and how America has devolved into what it is today:

Malley’s bio is provided below indicating a swampy, Obama re-tread serving in Barack’s third and arguably fourth terms – he spent his third undermining Trump from his basement down the street, enjoys his fourth under the guise of Biden and will have his fifth after 2024 is stolen for Michelle: DYNASTIC BUSH: Momentum for Michelle and A Fifth Term for Barack.

The contextual backdrop of US billions, nuclear capabilities, the JCPOA, a rogue nuclear arsenal and the timing of it all relative to Raisi’s death bears obvious questions that are the same: what does Malley know and what evidence does he have to prove it?

Pulling back to examine the overarching picture, it seems that some degree of control over Iran has been lost and the Intelligence Community and its DOD counterpart appear to be operationally tidying-up and cleaning-up to re-establish that control.

Here’s another question: Was the IC concerned that Iran itself was getting off-reservation in possession of highly damning evidence procured from Malley and where Raisi’s regime may have had designs to release it in Iranian state media; and perhaps in ways advantageous to Russia and China and disastrous to Obama and Biden?

In an “election” year?

It’s difficult not to view it that way and it all has a very Nord Stream feel to it.

Like with Nord Stream, though, it may be that we have to be patient for the direct evidence for it; if we get it at all.

I ask the questions for good reasons entangled in the multi-billion dollar Iranian nuclear web weaved by Obama and Biden:

“An investigation by Semafor last year detailed how Tehran used the IEI — a network of US and European experts on the Middle East — to advance Iran’s positions on its nuclear program and other national security issues beginning in 2014. A number of people associated with the IEI worked or collaborated with Malley on Iran issues both before and after he became the special envoy in 2021, the article revealed.”

Malley was deeply involved in a Biden administration effort to resurrect the 2015 nuclear agreement that limited Iran’s atomic work in exchange for sanctions relief, as well as negotiations to free American nationals imprisoned in Tehran. He also oversaw US government outreach to Iranian exiles and dissidents and efforts to strengthen democratic movements inside the country.

Note the beginning of the “other national security issues” ambiguity tied to the same 2014 timeline that saw Obama, Biden, Clinton, Kerry and Nuland initiate the IC’s regime change operations in Ukraine, converting it to a US proxy to facilitate global energy corruption, international money laundering and to fight a war against Russia that ties directly to this Iranian regime and the World War III for which it is the pathway to a kinetic flashpoint: WHY IRAN MATTERS: Biden’s Foreign Policy on Iran Is the Path to War.

Reporting indicates that,

“Malley was leading the Biden administration’s diplomatic outreach to Tehran when his security clearance was abruptly pulled by the State Department’s Bureau of Diplomatic Security in April last year. He was placed on unpaid leave two months later, and the FBI initiated an investigation into whether Malley mishandled classified information — a probe that’s ongoing.

Lawmakers learned Malley transferred around a dozen documents to his personal devices with classifications ranging from sensitive but unclassified to classified. Among these, they believe, are detailed notes of the diplomat’s encounters with Iranian officials in the months leading up to his suspension. There also may have been documents related to the US government’s response to the wide scale political protests that erupted in Iran – and globally – during the fall of 2022 following the death of a young Kurdish woman, Mahsa Amini, in police custody. She allegedly violated an Iranian law that requires women to wear Islamic headscarves.

The political overlay here is ridiculous beyond measure whether its attributable to Semafor’s reporting, the Intelligence Community’s scripting or likely both: “Republican lawmakers are also seeking clarity on evidence Malley misled the FBI about downloading the sensitive and classified documents. The FBI and US special prosecutors have launched an array of such investigations in recent years into senior US officials — including President Trump’s first national security adviser, Michael Flynn, and Irve Lewis “Scooter” Libby, a top aide to former Vice President Dick Cheney. In many instances, the suspects were charged with lying to the FBI rather than any underlying crime.”

This is Robert Malley:

Malley’s bio from the US Department of State is highly informative to the position that he is an Intelligence Community asset, Obama retread that is in alignment with covert US diplomacy with Iran: “Robert Malley was appointed Special Envoy for Iran on January 28, 2021.  Prior to that, he served as President and CEO of the International Crisis Group. Under the President Barack Obama, he served as Special Assistant to the President, Senior Advisor to the President for the Counter-ISIL campaign, and White House Coordinator for the Middle East, North Africa and Gulf Region in 2015-2016 and, before that, as Senior Director for the Gulf Region and Syria. Before joining the National Security Council staff in February 2014, Mr. Malley founded and directed the International Crisis Group’s Middle East and North Africa Program from January 2002.  Prior to that, he was a Senior Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations. Until January 2001, Mr. Malley was Special Assistant to President Clinton for Arab-Israeli Affairs and Director for Near East and South Asian Affairs at the National Security Council. Mr. Malley first joined the National Security Council staff in August 1994 as Director for Democracy. In July 1997, he became Executive Assistant to the National Security Advisor from July 1997 to September 1998, acting as an informal chief of staff for Samuel R. Berger. Mr. Malley served as a law clerk to Justice Byron R. White of the United States Supreme Court in 1991-1992. Mr. Malley is a graduate of Yale University, Harvard Law School and Oxford University, England, where he was a Rhodes Scholar. What did Malley know and have and what did he give to the Iranians?

How is it related to Raisi’s death?

Were Raisi and Iran off-script and off-reservation and did the IC have to clean that up?

Is the IC leveraging Congress to reveal these details in its ongoing designs to remove Biden from the 2024 ballot as I positioned in the analysis over a year and a half ago?

This is all more kabuki theater from the IC.

The real questions on Malley and Iran revolve around why and why now?
