Putin Details “Comprehensive” Counterstrike, Barrage of Drones and Missiles Targeted Ukrainian Energy Infrastructure

ANALYSIS: Putin carried-out overnight counterstrikes for ATACMS attack deep inside Russia. 100 drones and 90 missiles target energy infrastructure. Widespread blackout affected 1 million.

Overnight between Thanksgiving and Black Friday, Russia carried-out its counterstrike that had been looming since Ukraine attacked deep inside Russia with long-range ATACMS missiles provided by the Administration of Joe Biden. We’re thankful for two things. The first is the adults in the form of Donald Trump’s second administration returning to the Oval Office on 20 Jan 25 if he can stay alive and make it through the Senate’s certification of the election. The second is the measured restraint that Vladimir Putin continues to exercise as the Intelligence Community/Pentagon/NATO/State Department conglomerate continues attempting to bait Putin into crossing the chemical/nuclear red line that Biden drew in September 2022. Yesterday’s analysis featured remarks at the CSTO Summit in Astana where Putin indicated Russia would target “military facilities, defense industry enterprises or decision-making centers in Kiev.” The overnight Russian counterstrike in Ukraine resulted in the nation’s energy infrastructure being targeted with 100 drones and 90 missiles that resulted in widespread power outages affecting one million Ukrainians.

Friday it was reported that Putin address the CSTO Summit to announce that 100 drones and 90 missiles had been launched over the previous 48 hours as a counterstrike to the ATACMS deep inside Russia.

“We carried out a comprehensive strike,” Putin announced Thursday going on to say, “It was a response to ongoing attacks on our territory using [U.S.-supplied] ATACMS missiles.”

For the moment, Russia’s highly advanced and lethal Oreshnik hypersonic missile platform, which Putin routinely reiterates is “indefensible,” occupies center stage.

Previously, Putin had warned and placed on notice high priority Ukrainian targets qualified as “military facilities, defense industry enterprises or decision-making centers in Kiev”: Putin Identifies Likely Targets of Looming Counterstrike, Calls Ukrainian Government Illegitimate Under Zelensky.

While Americans indulged on the fares of Thanksgiving dinner, Putin cited Russia’s active surveillance and tracking of long-range platforms inside Ukraine going on to issue another direct warning to to the “decision-making centers in Kiev.”

Relative to this surveillance and tracking is Poland and any NATO bases that might qualify to the extent that if Putin targets long-range platforms in Poland, it would likely transition us from a full scale regional war to a global one.

In his warning to Kiev’s decision-makers, Putin specified the Oreshnik platform, which he further noted is already in serial production.

Putin addressed the lethality of the Oreshnik platform in saying it renders its targets “into dust” where strikes featuring multiple Oreshnik launches are “comparable to a nuclear strike.”

Putin cited Oresnik’s performance capabilities noting its ability to reach speeds of “around three kilometers per second” where its payload delivers temperatures and energy “like the surface of the Sun” upon impact.

Putin did this as he painted Zelensky with the same brush that painted Joe Biden – the brush of illegitimacy.

This is because the presidential term of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who the US installed subsequent to its regime change operations beginning in 2014 [Maidan Revolution] with the help of Ukrainian oligarch Ihor Kolomoyskyi, ended in May 2024 with no elections for a successor held.

They call it “democracy” and you’d have to be as dumb as Kamala Harris to believe that; and you can say the same about all of the weaponized propaganda in the United States citing the “Constitution” and “democracy.”

Therefore, it is incumbent upon us to examine Putin’s remarks about Oresnik’s lethality and performance capabilities through the lens of Biden’s nuclear entrapment operation to ask ourselves an important 3-part question:

1. Will Putin order strikes on the decision-making centers in Kiev?

2. Will those strikes feature the Oreshnik platform?

3. Will the IC/DoD/NATO/State conglomerate qualify Oreshnik strikes in Kiev as sufficient to cross the red line Biden drew to frame the nuclear entrapment construct because Putin specifically made the Oreshnik platform an analog to a nuclear strike due to its lethality and performance capabilities?

If the answer to each of those questions is “yes,” then the follow-up question is both obvious and 2-part:

1. Will the application of the principle of war reciprocity continue uninterrupted causing NATO/Ukraine to issue long-range and perhaps ICBM strikes deep inside of Russia to strike in-kind and similar targets?

2. Would long range strikes of this nature deep inside of Russia be sufficient to finally drive the 5-stage linear war trajectory from the transition line we straddle between full scale regional war and global war fully to the latter?

If the answer to those two questions is “yes,” then the follow-up question becomes this:

How long will it take before Beijing moves on Taiwan and the US finds itself in a detrimental state of depleted munitions expended in its proxy war with Russia and facing a three-front war in the long projected three theaters for World War III: 1-Russia/Ukraine, 2-China/Taiwan/South China Sea and 3-Middle East/Iran/Syria/Israel?

To answer that question, factor-in how well the Germans did managing one less front when Allied forces opened a second front in World War II on 06 Jun 1944.

For now, the prospect of peace hinges on Donald Trump returning to the Oval Office in January, where he and Putin maintained normalized diplomatic relations for four years, and Putin’s continued measured restraint.

All eyes must be on on Biden’s nuclear [or chemical] entrapment operation where that lens should overlay the existing and developing fact sets to be the strongest indicator of what is to come.

The long-time projected time frame for a kinetic flashpoint to WWIII is the range of 05 Nov 24 +/- 3 months as impacted by the 06 Jan 25 Senate vote to certify the election, where the Vice President Kamala Harris will preside as the President of the U.S. Senate, and Trump’s 20 Jan 25 inauguration.

In a perfect world, the IC/DoD/NATO/State conglomerate would successfully bait Putin to cross Biden’s red line so it can do what it’s always coveted: fire its ICBMs directly at Russia while avoiding the messiness of a proxy war state altogether.

If IC/DoD/NATO/State can’t achieve this ultimate operational objective, be ready for Oreshnik strikes to be equated to nuclear strikes and through weaponized propaganda, qualified as sufficient to cross Biden’s red line.

If that happens and to the side of the latter, we’ll essentially have both feet over the transition line between full scale regional war and global conflict.
