In 2013 I was highly suspicious of a female who attended our anti-fracking camps. She claimed to be an unemployed single mother of 3 kids who only spent holidays with her. She chain-smoked an expensive brand of cigarettes and her tent was huge, furnished beautifully. I thought she was an agent because I saw her passing paperwork to police when she thought she was not being observed.
Over Christmas and New Year she vanished from site. When she returned she told us that she had taken her children to Latvia to 'see Father Christmas'. I said 'but Father Christmas lives in Lapland, Finland, doesn't he?' - she ignored me. Visiting Latvia is far from cheap.
It always puzzled me how an unemployed single mum could afford to visit Latvia. Also - why?
Later, after she was driven out of the anti-fracking community for highly suspicious behaviour, she turned up as a fundraiser for the families affected by the Grenfell Tower fire. I contacted an activist group who were also involved and warned them to watch her. When a lot of money went missing from the Grenfell funds so did this woman.....
Undercover cops and agents will use everything at their disposal to disrupt and undermine all anti-government groups. They also seem to have 'package holidays' that are common among them. Things like visits to unusual places like Mozambique, Ukraine, Iceland and Latvia, or expensive hobbies like mountaineering, skiing and sailing.
There is always more going on than we will ever know.
