As usual I agree with your commentary, and although im in the deep ozarks I dont see the evidence that I know is there. Financial instability created by the destruction of the union for sure. Price of fuel, materials, consumables and too a certain extent food (purchased not bartered). I created this environment on purpose just to have a chance to retire in relative peace after 30 + year career. I was fully involved in the GWOT and prior to 9/11 working for MIC. Something that I feel greatly humiliated by now, its not an easy thing to swallow for getting the wool pulled over my one remaining eye. The only positive aspect of this "patriotic duty" is a gained awesome skill set to live and thrive in a Non Permisve Environments.
What I do see from my vantage point is a patriotic group of rednecks coming together even now bartering goods, vegtables, meat and resources. Its working on a fairly sustainable scale but I feel that the scraping of the barely functioning banking system is gonna canx my abilty to purchase needed survival items that im constatnly stacking. The biggest issue I see is the remaining (whats the percentage??) Americans suffering from the inability to accept the obvious outcome. My Exwife is included in this group happy to be providing interior design services to the mass of people migrating
into my beloved removed state of Florida. I left that state as there was no room to move, cant enjoy a morning surf session just me and the porpoises. Constant blaring of sirens, horns and screaming methheads yelling at ghosts not seen. Id gladly lay down my life risk the loss of more body parts if the need comes but not to the current regime (we know who we are).
